Greece: 1st Seminar

On 1^st-3^rd April 2015 was successfully held the 3-day Training Seminar of Teachers and Professionals who work with children/adolescents/young people who are either hosted or visiting the facilities of organizations offering services to vulnerable and/or high risk groups of children/adolescents. The Seminar was organized by the project’s coordinator (EAVN, Greece) in collaboration with the Project’s Partner “The Smile of the Child” and a total of 20 trainees attended the seminar that was held in Athens in the Studio “YouSmile“.

Romania: 1st & 2nd Seminar

Training Seminars in Romania

The Association for Liberty and Gender Equality - A.L.E.G. implemented two intensive training seminars for high-school teachers and school counselors in Sibiu/Romania. The goal of the seminars was to raise awareness on issues related to gender stereotypes, gender-based violence and gender equality and build teachers' and school councilors' capacities to implement the “GEAR against IPV II” workshops with students in their schools but also to provide support to students experiencing abuse in their relationship and/or in their families.

On 31^stOctober - 2^nd November 2015 was successfully held the 2^nd 3-day Training Seminar of Secondary Education Teachers in Greece. The Seminar was organized by the project’s coordinator (EAVN) and a total of 52 trainees attended the seminar that was held in Athens in "Acropolis Hill Hotel".

Unitary Platform against Gender Violence - Plataforma unitària contra les violències de gènere (PUCVG) implemented the 1st training seminar for high school teachers in Barcelona (Spain) from 7th October to 25th of November 2015 (8 sessions) in Rosa Sensat Teacher’s Association premises.

Croatia: 1st & 2nd Seminar

Teachers Training Seminars in Croatia

CESI- Center for Education, Counselling and Research implemented two training seminars for high-school teachers in Croatia. First seminar was held from 12^th - 15^th of November 2015 and a second one from 26^th -29th of November 2015 in Donja Stubica, in the hotel Terme Jezercica. Total of 53 trainees attended the seminars. The goal of the seminars was to raise awareness on issues related to gender stereotypes, gender-based violence and gender equality and build teachers' capacities to implement the “GEAR against IPV II” workshops with students at schools. The seminar included both theoretical and a practical part conducted via simulated workshop, with teachers adopting the role of students.

On 5-7 December 2015 was successfully held the 3^rd 3-day Training Seminar of Secondary Education Teachers in Greece. The Seminar was organized by the project’s coordinator (EAVN) and a total of 21 trainees attended the seminar that was held in Athens in "Acropolis Hill Hotel".
